Khila James
Khila James is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School, an International Business Law Fellow at the Dennis J. Block Center for the Study of International Business Law, and a member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Honor Society. Before law school she founded and ran Haus of Business, advising 150+ startups on entity formation, IP, and compliance and growing the firm past $2.5M in revenue. She's since interned at Bloomberg, the Javits Center, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and at the clinic she's drawn to the corporate, transactional, and IP work that serves entrepreneurs.
Mags Martin
Mags Martin is a second-year student at Brooklyn Law School, a Sheppard Intellectual Property Fellow, a Prince Scholarship recipient, and a member of the Brooklyn Law Review, with CALI Awards in Torts and Gateway to Lawyering I. A physics graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Mags researched machine learning models for predicting 2D crystalline material structures before law school and has been a registered patent agent since 2025. Mags spent the summer of 2026 as a summer associate in Sheppard's New York IP litigation group and is headed toward high-tech patent litigation after graduation.
Alexander Poste
Alexander Poste is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School and an Articles Editor for the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial, and Commercial Law. A mathematics graduate of NYU, Alexander interned for the Hon. Devin Cohen at Kings County Supreme Court and spent the summer of 2026 as a summer associate at Kirkland & Ellis. Alexander will return to Kirkland after graduation to focus on bankruptcy and restructuring.
Arielle Rothman
Arielle Rothman is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School, Executive Notes & Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law, and President of the Brooklyn Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Arielle has worked across the music industry — as a Business and Legal Affairs Emerging Talent Associate at Atlantic Records, a legal intern at Sedlmayr & Associates representing artists and producers, and an intern at Universal Music Group and Loyalt Management — and handled business formation, governance, and IP for fashion, lifestyle, and tech startups at LVLUP Legal. After law school Arielle plans to practice music law, representing artists, producers, and new ventures.
Gissette Taveras Goris
Gissette Taveras Goris is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School graduating in February 2027 and a member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Honor Society. Gissette has worked as a trademark paralegal in both private practice and in-house and was recently promoted to law clerk at a current firm. At the clinic Gissette is drawn to intellectual property work, and plans to practice as a trademark and privacy associate after graduation.
Samantha Endlich
Samantha Endlich is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School, a staff member of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, and a member of the Phi Delta Phi honor society. Before law school Samantha spent a year as a Client Service Associate at Guidepoint, and has since interned at Major League Baseball, Salzano Ettinger & Lampert, Boyarski Fritz, and David Ehrlich & Associates. After graduation Samantha plans to practice entertainment and music law with a focus on artist representation.
Diana Bachan
Diana Bachan is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School and a finance graduate of Baruch College. Diana has interned for the Hon. Joanne Quinones in the Criminal Division of Kings County Supreme Court and for the New York Police Department Licensing Division, worked as a summer associate at Rossman Law Firm, and served as a midlevel paralegal at Fross Zelnick Lehrman & Zissu. Earlier roles in global finance at Fresh LVMH and Frederick Wildman & Sons shaped an interest in entertainment law, and Diana hopes to work as in-house counsel or at a government agency after graduation.
Katelyn Schwartz
Katelyn Schwartz is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School and a political science graduate of Kenyon College. Katelyn has worked as an associate at Teneo and as a legal intern in the Office of the General Counsel at the International Rescue Committee. After law school Katelyn wants to help companies navigate the transactions and strategic decisions that shape how they grow — as a trusted advisor who understands the business context around the law, not just the law itself.
Evetta Poley
Evetta Poley is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School and a member of the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial, and Commercial Law. Evetta holds an MBA and a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law from Binghamton University, and has worked with startups at LVLUP Legal as well as at Louis Vuitton and Richemont. After graduation Evetta is looking toward corporate, intellectual property, or data privacy work.
Brooke McKenna
Brooke McKenna is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School and a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society. A government and economics graduate of Connecticut College, Brooke has interned in claims analysis at Ryan Specialty, served as a judicial intern at the U.S. Court of International Trade, and spent a summer as an associate at Foran Glennon Palandech Ponzi & Rudloff. Brooke plans to practice litigation after graduation.
Jamie Abraham
Jamie Abraham is a second-year student at Brooklyn Law School and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where Jamie earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. That technical background points toward intellectual property litigation, which is where Jamie hopes to practice after law school.
Keyana S. Bahadori
Keyana S. Bahadori is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School and a graduate of San Diego State University, where Keyana studied international business with a concentration in Germany and Western Europe. Keyana is a summer associate at Neville Peterson LLP working on customs duty refund claims and trade compliance, and previously served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Claire R. Kelly at the U.S. Court of International Trade, drafting memoranda on anti-dumping determinations, tariff classification, and sanctions matters. Before law school Keyana worked in global product management at Taconic Biosciences through an acquisition, integrating EU and China compliance requirements into market analysis. After graduation Keyana is interested in tax work, particularly the tax implications facing startups, multinational corporations, and M&A transactions.
Isabelle Bularca
Isabelle Bularca is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School, Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Association, and an advanced student clinician at the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic. A biomedical science graduate of the University of South Florida, Isabelle has served as a legal associate in the Office of the General Counsel at Piping Rock Health Products and as a legal intern at the New York Peace Institute, and previously chaired the IP Law Association's patent committee. After law school Isabelle is interested in intellectual property and transactional work.
Alexander Tange
Alexander Tange is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School and the founder and CEO of ICM Hub, a company building conversational and voice AI for the aviation industry. Before law school Alexander was a management consultant at EY advising global organizations on strategy, transformation, and sustainability, and has advised early-stage technology companies in the Techstars ecosystem on go-to-market strategy. As a legal extern at TestSprite, Alexander worked on AI governance and regulatory compliance under the EU AI Act, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and emerging U.S. regulation — the area Alexander hopes to build a career in, translating responsible AI practice into workable strategy for companies actually shipping the technology.
Emma Frank
Emma Frank is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School, a member of the Brooklyn Law Review, and a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Torts. A political science graduate of Ohio State University, Emma worked as a marketing manager for a startup before law school and has since served as a summer law clerk at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and a summer associate at the Law Office of Elliott Martin. Emma plans to practice corporate law after graduation.
Julienne Martinez-Alvarez
Julienne Martinez-Alvarez is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School, a member of the Brooklyn Law Journal, and active in the Fashion Law Society, LALSA, and BELSAS. A political science graduate of Boston College, Julienne worked in marketing and communications at Cahill Gordon before law school and has since externed in Kings County Civil Court and worked in litigation at Goodwin Procter. At the clinic Julienne is focused on general commercial work.
