Ava Zhang is a third-year student at Brooklyn Law School and a Family Law and Policy Fellow. An English and American literature graduate of NYU, Ava spent two years as a title closer at a title insurance company before law school and has since completed judicial internships at Kings County Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, along with a summer at an investigations firm. Ava is drawn to the intersection of intellectual property and privacy law, and to the question of how family law — among the most personal areas of practice — is being reshaped by an increasingly data-driven world.
